First Start – Playgroup Taster Session 2022

Then Malvern Playgroup is just right for you and your little one! Join us for a playgroup taster session to find out what Malvern Playgroup is all about. It was a great session with lots of fund and enjoyable activities for parents and children alike.
If you missed our Playgroup Taster Session at Coronation Circle on Saturday, 24th of September, please note that we will have another session on Island West Campus on Saturday, 22nd of October 2022!
First Start – Playgroup Taster Session 2022 at Island West Campus
Date: Saturday, 22nd of October 2022
Time: Session 1: 2:00 – 3:00pm
Time: Session 2: 3:30 – 4:30pm
Age requirement: 18-30 months
Theme: Story Time – The Park
Venue: Malvern College Pre-School Hong Kong – Island West Campus
G/F and 1/F Viking Court, 165-166 Connaught Road West, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong
Meet our Playgroup teacher Ms Suman for one hour of engaging fun and play. During circle time, Ms Suman will share the story “Spot Goes to the Park” and action songs such as “I See a Ball”. I wonder what Spot will do at the park with his friends? Run? Kick the ball? Play on the swings? Play in the tunnel?
Come and join Spot and his friends as they go to the park!
The children, and their familiar adult, can also explore a wealth of ‘park’ related activities: discovering the role play teddy bears picnic, constructing with diggers and blocks, exploring muddy play – a delight for the senses, small world play with a miniature ‘MCPS Park Playground’, and visit our PE area for some adventurous climbing opportunities! The children will also help to plant their own seed to take home for further fun and exploration!
Furthermore, this taster session will provide the opportunity to meet children of a similar age and make friends in a safe, inviting, Reggio inspired Early Years campus. We can’t wait to see you there!
Please note that the event’s purpose is for you to experience a playgroup session as it would be normally held. We therefore ask for each toddler to be accompanied by one adult only. Thank you for your understanding.
