Fiona Lai

Playgroup Teacher Island West

Ms. Fiona Lai was born in New York City but grew up in Hong Kong. She received her master’s degree at the Institute of Education of the University College London (UCL). Fiona strongly believes that the early years are a crucial time in a person’s lifelong development.
Fiona feels passionate about teaching children to engage with the world while building confidence, courage and resilience. She values the importance of cultivating worthiness as well as supporting children to reach their full potential.
Drawing upon a wealth of experience in playgroup teaching, Fiona believes in the importance of learning through play where children discover more about themselves and their surroundings.
In her spare time, Fiona likes to read non-fiction books about the world, experiment with new cooking recipes, play a competitive game of tennis and to explore new destinations with her family and friends.

Agnes Chow

Playgroup Teacher Coronation Circle

Ms. Agnes Chow was born in Hong Kong but grew up in Canada. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto and a Master of Education degree in Early Childhood Education at the Hong Kong Baptist University.
With over ten years of experience in kindergarten and playgroup teaching, Agnes is very familiar with the British EYFS curriculum. Agnes feels particularly passionate about teaching children from different cultural backgrounds.
Agnes enjoys spending time with her young family, travelling, nature and music.

Rehana

Early Years Playgroup Teacher Coronation Circle

Ms. Rehana, is a registered Kindergarten teacher with extensive experience teaching the British EYFS curriculum. She has taught in several kindergartens throughout Hong Kong for the past eight years and believes that building strong relationships with children is key. When she’s not teaching, she enjoys spending lots of time with her young daughter. She also loves to travel, to visit new places and especially, to explore the nature there.
