A big thank you to everyone for coming to our very first virtual playgroup open day! We hope you all enjoyed our bubble wrap art and storytelling session. It was so lovely to see the children expressing themselves so freely, developing their fine motor skills and taking pride in their colourful creations. Also, sharing stories, talking and singing songs help children to learn sounds, words and language and help to develop their early literacy skills. Stories can spark their imagination and curiosity and also be of great benefit in helping children identify and solve real-life problems. Reading can also introduce them to far-flung places, extraordinary people and eye-opening situations all of which expand and enrich their world.
